‘Repatriate 516 Telangana engineers’

Guntur, June 22: Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Engineers Association state president PV Muralikrishna Naidu has demanded the State government to repatriate 516 Telangana engineers from AP. He said that 516 engineers from Telangana are working in Panchayat Raj, Rural Water Supply (RWS), Irrigation and other departments. He said that it would not be appropriate for the Telangana employees to work in AP after the bifurcation of the State. Muralikrishna said that continuing TS engineers will create hurdles to locals in promotions. He informed that Telangana engineers are in key positions like CEs, SEs, EEs and others. He said that two to three engineers from Telangana will be soon appointed as CEs and questioned how AP employees will work under them.
