Scam money invested in Sakshi media: Devineni

Vijayawada, June 21: Irrigation Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao alleged that Sakshi newspaper and TV channel were set up with scam money. Speaking to the media here, Devineni flayed Opposition leader YS Jagahmohan Reddy for criticizing the government on irrigation projects. Devineni said that Jagan is using his Sakshi media group to tarnish the reputation of the government. He announced that farmers from Krishna and West Godavari districts voluntarily gave 1,800 acres land for construction of Pattisemma lift irrigation project. He promised to complete the project within the scheduled time to address the drinking and irrigation water needs of Rayalaseema people.
