Shabbir faults KCR for not convening meet on Ramzan festival
Hyderabad, June 21: Leader of Opposition in Telangana Legislative Council, Shabbir Ali, shot off a letter to TS Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao asking as to why his government has been showing negligence towards Ramzan festival.
In his letter, Shabbir Ali expressed anguish that KCR did not convene a review meeting on making arrangements for the festival even after the beginning of the holy month. He said previous State government had released Rs 5 crore, allocated for Ramzan, after completion of the festival. Ali said it was a tradition continuing for decades to convene a meeting by Chief Ministers with people's representatives.
