AP ACB DG, Intelligence IG meet Chandrababu

Hyderabad, June 20: Andhra Pradesh Anti-Corruption Bureau DG and Intelligence IG met Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at his residence here today. They reportedly discussed about the further course of action in the alleged phone-tapping of AP CM and others by TS government. Senior police officials were regularly briefing Chandrababu on the issue. It may be noted that Andhra Pradesh government has claimed that they have incriminating evidence on the alleged phone-tapping. The AP government is pursuing the matter seriously and brought the issue to the notice of the Union government. Meanwhile, large contingents of police were deployed at AP Secretariat and AP DGP office as Journalist unions have planned to stage protests against AP CID notice to T News.
