Lalith Modi issue casts shadow on AP-TS row

Hyderabad, June 19: The AP-TS row is not a priority for the Union government now as it is engrossed in Lalith Modi-Sushma Swaraj-Vasundhara Raje issue. The Telangana and Andhra Pradesh governments which are at loggerheads ever since the Cash-for-vote scandal surfaced but the issue has so far not received the attention of Union government. Sources said that Union government receives reports on the functioning of all State governments but these are not priority now as it was caught up with the Lalith Modi issue. There were also reports that Centre can do nothing now as the matter is already in the court and Law and Order subject lies under the jurisdiction of the States. BJP is also reluctant to interference in AP-TS row at this time as it may dent the party image. BJP is awaiting for the forensic lab reports to announce the party stand on the issue.
