15 arrested in search operation at SR Nagar
Hyderabad, June 18: The police have launched cordon search operation at private boys hostels in Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar (SR Nagar) area in the city today and detained 15 persons for failing to produce identity documents. West Zone DCP Venkateswara Rao supervised the cordon search operations. He was assisted by 300 police personnel including ACP, CIs and SIs. The search operation assumed significance as some TRS leaders stated that some anti-social elements entered the city to trigger riots. The police beefed up security across the city in the wake of ACB’s notices to TDP leaders and increased surveillance checks to prevent any untoward incident.
