Brigade Group Acquires Osman Nagar Land for Premium Residential Project
Brigade Enterprises Limited, a prominent real estate company, has acquired a major land parcel in Hyderabad. The company secured 5.72 acres in Osman Nagar through an auction conducted by the Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC), according to a regulatory filing made by the company on April 28.
The company said it purchased the land at ₹44 crore per acre, for a total of about ₹251.68 crore, excluding registration costs. Brigade Enterprises Limited said it plans to develop a high-end premium residential project on the site. The acquisition is part of the company’s strategy to expand its operations in Hyderabad, one of India’s rapidly growing real estate markets.
Commenting on the acquisition, Amar Mysore, Executive Director of Brigade Enterprises Limited, said, “Hyderabad has emerged as one of the fastest-growing real estate hubs in the country. It is a very important market for us. This land in Osman Nagar fits perfectly with our strategic plans. We will undertake construction here with world-class standards and modern technology.”
Osman Nagar has gained importance as a residential area because of its proximity to major IT hubs such as Hitec City and Gachibowli, strong connectivity through the Outer Ring Road, relatively low population density, and improving social infrastructure. Brigade Enterprises Limited said the purchase was part of its plans to expand across South India. However, Brigade Group has not yet disclosed the construction timeline or other details related to the Osman Nagar project.
