IPL 2026: Samson, Mhatre, and Brevis guide CSK to 192/5 against KKR
Chennai, April 14 : A blazing start from Sanju Samson and Ayush Mhatre, followed by impactful middle-order contributions, helped Chennai Super Kings (CSK) post 192/5 in their 20 overs against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 clash at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Tuesday.
Opting to bat first, CSK came out all guns blazing as Samson set the tone with a flurry of boundaries in the opening over. The aggressive intent continued despite an early setback, with skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad once again failing to convert his start, falling to Anukul Roy after scoring just seven runs.
