Revanth Reddy to turn approver?
Hyderabad, June 13: The news of TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy, who was caught in the 'cash-for-vote' case, turning approver were making rounds in the political circles, while Telugu Desam leaders flatly denied this, saying 'no way', according to an English newspaper.
The ACB officials were gearing up to record the statement of Revanth Reddy in the case.
AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, on the other hand, was contemplating to approach the High Court against Telangana government on phone tapping. Naidu already requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a high-level probe in the phone tapping issue.
Stating that it was not fair for the TS government to bug their phones in Hyderabad, the common capital for both the Telugu states, a senior minister of AP government said they were planning to file a petition seeking justice in this case.
Also, Chandrababu is likely to request the court to ensure that the Governor will have the administrative powers over law and order in Hyderabad, as per the State Reorganisation Bill, the minister added.
