KCR lays stone for Palamuru-Ranga Reddy Lift Irrigation Scheme
Hyderabad, June 11: Chief Minister K Chandrashkear Rao laid foundation stone for the Palamur-Ranga Reddy Lift Irrigation Scheme today.
The CM inaugurated the project pylon in a programme held at Karvena village of Bhootpur mandal in Mahabubnagar district today.
KCR assured that the projects works would be grounded only after providing a government job to a member of each displaced family.
The project will irrigate seven lakh acres in Mahabubnagar, 2.7 lakh acres in Ranga Reddy and 30,000 acres in Nalgonda districts.
At least 90 TMC water from the Srisasilam project will be used for the lift irrigation scheme.
TRS cadres, Ministers, MPs, MLAs and a large number of people participated in the programme.
