Muslim teacher constructs Saraswati temple

Ahmadabad, June 10, 2015: A retired Muslim teacher donated funds for the construction of Saraswati temple in Gujarat. He showed his generosity and religious tolerance and stood as an example for others. Abdul Ora worked as a teacher in a school at Marida village of Gujarat. He constructed the temple on the school premises to motivate the children towards their studies. Vora put a large amount of his savings in the construction of the temple. It took five years to complete the temple and the villagers had also contributed whatever they could. Abdul worked in the Hindu dominated village for three decades. He also taught children how to perform puja to goddess Saraswati.
