Cases filed against KCR in AP
Hyderabad, June 08: TDP cadre filed cases against Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for allegedly releasing tampered audio tapes to malign the image of AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
The cases were filed in police stations at Pamarru and Ibrahimpatanm in Krishna district, Bapatla in Guntur district and Visakhapatnam city. The police registered cases against Telangana government and KCR under relevant sections.
Similarly, Irrigation Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao and senior leader Varla Ramaiah filed cases against KCR in Governorpet and Bhavnipuram police stations. In their complaint, they alleged that KCR and nominated MLA Stephenson hatched a conspiracy to destabilise TDP government. TDP cadres staged protests across Andhra Pradesh and burnt effigies of KCR.
