'Capital 'Bhumi Puja' was as a family function'

Hyderabad: Jyothula Nehru, YSRCP Deputy Floor leader in Assembly, has alleged that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has organised 'Bhumi Puja' for capital city as family function. At a press conference here, Nehru revealed that he was not invited to the ceremony. Nehru warned that breach of privilege notice would be issued to the government on the way invitation was extended to YS Jagamohan Reddy. He said the invitation was sent through a attender to Jagan on Friday and it shows the vicious intentions of TDP. Actually leader of Opposition holds the rank of Cabinet Minister and as per conventions CM himself should extend invitation. Similarly Leader of Opposition in Council C Ramachandraiah alleged that the programme was held as CM's family affair. He flayed the government for not extending invitation to opposition party leaders. He reminded that former Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi and Rajeev Gandhi consulted opposition leaders before taking decision on important matters.
