Cong clamours for Naidu's head in cash for vote scam

Hyderabad, June 3, 2015: Congress leaders in AP and Telangana are demanding the ACB to list AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu as the main accused in the cash for vote scam case. While Telangana Congress MP V.Hanumanth Rao has warned the KCR Government of serious consequences if the name of Chandrababu is not listed as the accused in the case, Opposition leader in the AP Legislative Council Ch. Ramachandraiah asked Naidu to quit as president of the TDP and also as CM. "Naidu should quit his posts immediately. If the investigation clears his name in the scam, he can again take up his posts, " Ramachandraiah suggested. As Chandrababu is the main conspirator in the cash for vote scam case , he should quit his posts immediately, Ramachandraiah told reporters here. "Chandrababu says the state division has been the result of a conspiracy. Since he had given a letter in favour of division, he is also part of the conspiracy, " Ramachandraiah observed reacting to his criticism of Congress president Sonia Gandhi. On the other hand, APCC Chief Raghuveera Reddy described Chandrababu's loan waiver programme as a 'waiver of his poll promises'.
