ACB trying to find out source of currency used as bait for Stephenson

Hyderabad, June 2, 2015: ACB, which has registered a case under the prevention of corruption act against TDP MLA Revanth Reddy who was arrested red-handed while trying to bribe nominated MLA Stephenson three days ago, is now concentrating on the money aspect involved in the scam. The officials have started investigation to find out how many more MLAs were offered huge sums of money as bait by TDP leadership to vote for the TDP candidate in the MLC polls. The ACB is reportedly proceeding with the investigation based on the serial numbers of the currency notes found with Revanth Reddy when he was caught. It may be recalled that Revanth Reddy made a clear mention in the video that three Congress MLAs were ready to vote for TDP in the MLC polls. ACB is on the job to find out these three MLAs who may reveal the offers made to them by TDP leadership during investigation. Revanth is likely to face cases of money laundering act and as the investigation progresses, Chandrababu Naidu also may come under the ACB scanner.
