Cong lodges complaint with CEC against TRS on MLC polls

New Delhi , May 29 , 2015 : Telangana Congress MP R. Ananda Bhaskar on Friday met the Chief Election Commissioner ( CEC ) here and lodged a complaint against TRS leadership saying that the party has been resorting to undemocratic means to win seats illegally in the MLC polls. Anand Bhaskar told reporters later that even the speaker has refused to take action against the defectors even after several complaints. "I lodged a complaint against the Speaker too as he has not taken any action against the defectors despite our complaints " he said, demanding the government to conduct MLC polls in direct mode. The Congress is grudging over the TRS attempts to win the fifth seat with the support of other parties even though it has strength to win only four seats. In this connection, Telangana IT Minister KTR has already called up YSR Congress Party chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and sought support for the victory of their fifth candidate.
