AP, TS to form committee over data and file sharing for EAMCET Counseling

Hyderabad, May 26, 2015:AP and Telangana today decided to form an eight-member committee, with four members from each state, to oversee the sharing of computer data and records pertaining to EAMCET and educational institutions. "As the EAMCET counseling is scheduled for June 12 in AP, we have sought related files and computer data from the Telangana Government. Minister Kadiyam Sri said Telangana government is ready to cooperate with AP on the data sharing," AP Minister Ganta Srinivasarao told reporters later. Earlier, the two ministers met at the Chambers of Kadiyam Srihari in Telangana Secretariat and discussed the data sharing issue for EAMCET counseling. The two ministers met and discussed the issue face to face after Governor ESL Narasimhan advised them to sit together and discuss to find a solution. Prior to their meeting , the two ministers went to Raja Bhavan and met Narasimhan. After the meeting with Ganta Srinivasa rao, Kadiyam Srihari also told reporters that Telangana government officials and staff are ready to cooperate with AP Government on EAMCET counseling. "We are ready for date and file sharing. Once we receive a formal requisition, we will initiate the process, " Srihari told reporters.
