Case booked against diamond exporter for denying Muslim a job
Mumbai, May 22: The Mumbai Police is reported to have booked a case against a major diamond conglomerate Hare Krishna Exports Pvt Ltd for refusing to give a job to a young man because he was a Muslim, according to reports.
The Mumbai Police action comes after a huge public outrage and the Maharashtra government announced that it would investigate the issue.
It was reported by an English newspaper yesterday that an MBA graduate identified as Zeshan Ali Khan was refused a job by Hare Krishna Exports due to his religion.
