CBI concludes IAS officer D.K.Ravi's death as suicide

Bangalore, May 20, 2015: The CBI, which has investigated the death of Karnataka IAS officer D.K.Ravi , has concluded it as a case of suicide. The CBI said in its report that Ravi has purchased a 50-acre land at Chikballapur for real estate business but suffered huge losses in it. The huge losses drove him to the extreme step of killing self, the central probing agency said in its report. "There is no conspiracy in his death," CBI has concluded. It may be recalled that the mysterious death of Ravi in March, who last worked in the commercial taxed department, had created a sensation across the nation as several theories surrounding his death had surfaced.
