Chiranjeevi's unveiling of Sri Krishnadevaraya statue turns controversial

Hyderabad, May 18 , 2015: The Railway Koduru police of Kadapa district have filed cases against 18 organisers who have installed a statue of Vijayanagara emperor Sri Krishna Devaraya in the town. The statue of the legendary Sri Krishna Devaraya was unveiled by Congress MP and mega star Chiranjeevi recently. Police said that the organisers did not take permission to install the statue and unveil it. With the police filing cases, the installation of the statue and its unveiling by Chiranjeevi have now acquired the colour of a controversy.
