AP Govt issues GO to acquire land in capital region

Hyderabad, May 14 ,2015: AP Government on Thursday issued a GO (No. 166) for land acquisition in capital region. The lands belonging to farmers who have refused to give their lands in Undavalli, Penumaka and some other villages for the construction of the capital city will be acquired under the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act, according to the GO. The Government is likely to acquire around 800 acres of land owned by farmers who have refused to give their lands and approached the High Court. The land acquisition GO will come into force from tomorrow.
