Annadata Sukheebhava: Second Installment of Rs 7,000 for AP Farmers Next Week

Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government is set to disburse the second installment of its flagship farmer welfare scheme, Annadata Sukheebhava, on November 19. A total of Rs 3,135 crore will be credited directly into the bank accounts of approximately 46.85 lakh farmers across the state.

Under this installment, each eligible farmer will receive Rs 7,000. This amount includes a state government contribution of Rs 5,000, supplemented by Rs 2,000 from the central government's PM-Kisan program. This follows the first installment of Rs 3,174 crore, which was distributed in August.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will formally launch the disbursement program at an event in Kamalapuram. The proceedings will be broadcast live at over 10,000 Rythu Seva Kendras (Farmer Service Centres) statewide to ensure widespread participation.

State officials have been instructed to use the event as a platform to engage with the farming community. Discussions will focus on the government's vision for the agricultural sector, including topics like AgriTech, high-demand crops, natural farming, and food processing to enhance farm incomes. Ministers and other public representatives are expected to attend local events to facilitate this outreach.
