Bharat Forge, a leading industrial group, has expressed interest in exploring investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh. The company’s Vice Chairman, Amit Kalyani, met Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu in Visakhapatnam yesterday to discuss the establishment of industries and potential investment avenues in the state.

During the meeting, Amit Kalyani informed the Chief Minister that Bharat Forge is keen to set up advanced manufacturing units in the shipbuilding and electronics sectors in Andhra Pradesh. He also conveyed the company’s willingness to invest in the tourism sector. Notably, he shared an idea to develop a river cruise project at the historic site of Gandikota.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu briefed Amit Kalyani on the vast opportunities available in the industrial and tourism sectors in Andhra Pradesh. He emphasized the state’s advantages in the shipbuilding industry and the strategic importance of its coastal region. The Chief Minister also pointed out that there is immense potential for projects in prominent tourist destinations such as Gandikota, Papikondalu, and Araku Valley, which could further boost the tourism sector.

Additionally, Chandrababu Naidu highlighted that Araku coffee has already earned international recognition and established itself as a global brand. The meeting was seen as a positive step toward creating a favorable environment for attracting new investments to the state.
