Hyd police save life of TV actress Rupa, prevent her from comitting suicide

Hyderabad, May 10, 2015: Small screen actress Rupa tried to commit suicide by jumping into Hussain Sagar here on Sunday. Lake Police, who were nearby , watched her moments and saved her life by preventing her from jumping to death. Police said Rupa, who acted in Arundhati, Chandramukhi, Antahpuram and Sikharam serials in negative roles, has been in love with one Kewal Singh for a long time. They are now living together without wedlock but have decided to get married soon. However, Kewal Singh informed her that his family members are not willing for his marriage with an actress. Police said that the distressed actress has tried to kill self after that. Lake police have handed over the case to Pet Basheerbad police as the actress is a resident of Suchitra Circle.
