Lohia e-scooters, rickshaws to hit AP, TS roads soon

Hyderabad, April 23 ,2015: Lohia Auto Industries will soon release electronic scooters, electronic rickshaws and diesel autos in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Lohia Industries CEO Ayush Lohia told reporters here that the company will soon appoint 20 dealers. "We have already applied for permissions in the two Telugu states to sell our e-vehicles and are awaiting clearances. We have decided to expand our business and sell our e-vehicles across south India making Hyderabad as our head office," Ayush has disclosed. As per the concessions announced by the Central Government in its annual budget, sales of e-vehicles are bound to get a boost in the coming days, he said, adding that their e-vehicles would be made available in all southern states including AP and Telangana. "If necessary, we will launch our production unit in AP or Telangana or in any southern state to meet the demand in sales," Lohia has revealed, disclosing that their e-vehicles will run for 70-80 km distance with two units of power after charging.
