Ayyanna Patrudu once again takes on his rivals in TDP

Visakhapatnam, April 20, 2015: Once again taking on his rivals in the Telugu Desam Party, Minister Ayyanna Patrudu said on Monday that he won his election to the assembly with the support of the rival party. "I had come to know three days in advance of the polling that some party leaders and activists were trying to defeat me in the assembly elections in my constituency. Then I took the support of my rival party to win the election, " he told a party workers meeting today. He then asked the party activists to honour the persons who worked for his victory in the assembly elections. "If you don't honour them, I will honour them myself in my capacity as MLA and Minister," he told the activists. Ayyanna Patrudu's remarks are bound to create commotion in the party as he made these comments notwithstanding the advice of CM Chandrababu Naidu to forget differences with Minister Ganta and work for the growth of the party. "If you don't forget your differences and continue to fight among yourselves, I don't even hesitate to dismiss you from the Cabinet, " he warned both Ayyanna Patrudu and Ganta Srinivasa Rao at a recent party workers' meeting.
