CM Chandrababu Naidu to Visit Singapore from July 26
Amaravati, July 24: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will undertake a six-day official visit to Singapore from July 26 to 31, with the objective of attracting investments to Andhra Pradesh. During this tour, the Chief Minister is scheduled to engage with representatives of prominent global companies, leading industrialists, business executives, and other key stakeholders.
This marks Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s second overseas visit since the formation of the coalition government, following his earlier participation at the Davos summit. The Singapore visit is positioned as a strategic initiative to promote Brand Andhra Pradesh and to present the state’s new policies focused on industrial growth and ease of doing business.
The Chief Minister will showcase Andhra Pradesh’s infrastructure strengths, including ports, airports, highways, harbours, and the availability of extensive water and land resources. Emphasis will also be placed on the state’s 1,053-kilometre-long coastline and its skilled human capital. Nara Chandrababu Naidu is expected to urge global investors to consider the state as a destination for long-term industrial investment.
As part of the visit, the Chief Minister will conduct meetings with CEOs and senior officials of various multinational corporations. On the first day of his tour, he will participate in a gathering of the Telugu Diaspora in Singapore, which will also include attendees from neighbouring countries. At this event, he will invite the Telugu community to invest in Andhra Pradesh and encourage their active participation in the state's P4 (Public-Private-People Partnership) initiative aimed at poverty eradication.
The visit will also focus on mobilising investments for the upcoming Visakhapatnam Investment Summit, which is scheduled to be held in November. Key target sectors include port-based industries, semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and data centres. The Chief Minister will extend invitations to industrial leaders in Singapore to attend and invest through this summit.
Additionally, Nara Chandrababu Naidu will participate in business roundtable sessions focusing on the digital economy and fintech. He will also take part in a dedicated business roadshow to promote investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh. As part of the itinerary, the Chief Minister is scheduled to visit major infrastructure and logistics hubs across Singapore.
