HC orders re-postmortem on five more encounter bodies

Hyderabad, April 17, 2015: In a clear embarrassment to the AP Government, the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad has ordered re-postmortem on five more bodies of the Tamil Nadu red sanders wood cutters killed in the Seshachalam police encounter. The apex court of the state directed the authorities to take forensic experts from Osmania and Gandhi hospitals to perform second autopsy on the dead bodies. On Thursday, the High Court ordered re-postmortem on the body of Sashi Kumar. With the today's orders, the number of bodies that would undergo second postmortem has reached 6.
