Police arrest red sanders smuggler Mastan Vali

Kurnool, April 13, 2015: Police on Monday arrested red sanders smuggler Mastan Vali from his residence and seized his Innova vehicle. Mastan Vali, who has been facing a case under the PD Act for a long time, is a member of the Chagalamarri Mandal Praja Parishat. Police seem to have arrested Mastan Vali based on the information provided by some arrested Tamil Nadu red sanders wood cutters. Police also received information that some TN politicians are involved in the smuggling of red sanders from AP forests. A team of police officers has already left for Chennai to interrogate the suspected politicians.
