Roja discharged from hospital, alleges TDP-Police collusion

Tirupati, April 12, 2015: YSR Congress MLA R.K.Roja, who fainted during a demonstration on Saturday resulting in hospitalisation, was discharged from the hospital on Sunday. Roja along with her supporters had demonstrated in front of the MPDO office at Puthuru yesterday alleging victimization by police and TDP leaders. During the dharna, she fainted and her colleagues in the party took her to a local hospital for first aid. Later, she was taken to the SVIMS hospital at Tirupati for better treatment. After coming out of the hospital today, Roja has alleged that TDP leaders have colluded with police officials and foisted a false case against her. "I am working hard for the welfare of the downtrodden but they have foisted on me false case under SC, ST Act," she said ,adding she will fight it out over the issue.
