Tension in Puttur as Roja, TDP leaders fight it out

Chittoor, April 11: Tension is prevailing in Puttur town of Chittoor district with leaders of ruling Telugu Desam Party and YSR Congress Party staging protests against one another in front of a police station. YSRCP leader and MLA Roja has been staging a protest aganist the police for registering cases against her at the behest of ruling party leaders. On coming to know of Roja's protest, the TDP leaders had rushed to the police station. They made counter allegations against Roja and demanded that she should be immediately arrested for making derogatory statements against dalits.
