Actor Pawan Kalyan warns AP Govt against using Land Acquisition Act

Hyderabad, April 10, 2015: Actor and Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan on Friday asked the AP Government not to invoke the Land Acquisition Act against farmers not willing to give their lands for construction of capital city. He said he will take up the cause of the farmers if the government resorts to using the Land Acquisition Act. "It is not correct for the Government to resort to such measures. I will fight on behalf of the farmers in such circumstances," he said on Twitter. Pawan Kalyan objected to Government informing the High Court that it would resort to Land Acquisition Act if farmers are unwilling to give their land for Capital city. It is very sad that the government has told this to the High Court, Pawan Kalyan said.
