Pawan Kalyan's ‘OG’ Faces Fresh Halt as Antagonist Falls Ill

Power Star Pawan Kalyan is currently working at jet speed to complete the films he has committed to. As part of this effort, he is wrapping up one film after another. Having already completed the shoot for Hari Hara Veera Mallu, he is now participating in the filming of the much-awaited movie OG. The movie is presently being shot in Mumbai. Recently, photos and videos of Pawan from the set were leaked.

However, just as fans were hoping that the delayed OG film would finally reach completion—especially after earlier halts due to Pawan Kalyan’s political commitments—another break has struck the shoot, this time due to an actor’s health condition. The film’s unit recently commenced a new schedule in Aarey Colony, Goregaon, Mumbai. As part of this schedule, crucial scenes involving the lead actor Pawan Kalyan and the antagonist Emraan Hashmi were being filmed.

During this shoot, Emraan Hashmi fell ill. After undergoing medical tests, he was diagnosed with dengue. Doctors have advised him to take at least a week of rest. Emraan informed director Sujeeth and producer D.V.V. Danayya about his condition, who in turn conveyed the matter to Pawan Kalyan. Reportedly, Power Star Pawan Kalyan graciously understood the situation and agreed to resume shooting only after Emraan recovers.

It is already known that young director Sujeeth is helming OG, with Priyanka Mohan playing the female lead opposite Pawan Kalyan. The film is being produced by D.V.V. Danayya under the DVV Entertainments banner, with music composed by Thaman. The makers recently announced that this action thriller will be released as a Dussehra gift on September 25.

Pawan Kalyan will be seen in a powerful gangster role in the film, raising anticipation among fans who are eagerly awaiting its release. The posters and video songs released so far have received an excellent response, further intensifying the high expectations surrounding OG.
