Mahanadu 2025: Chandrababu Naidu Launches Convention with Cultural Tribute

The Telugu Desam Party’s annual convention, Mahanadu, commenced with grandeur and fervor. In celebration of the occasion, the city of Kadapa was adorned in hues of yellow, symbolizing the party's signature color. At the Mahanadu venue, Telugu Desam Party President Nara Chandrababu Naidu formally completed his registration process.

Following this, Nara Chandrababu Naidu viewed the photo exhibition organized at the venue and then proceeded to the main stage. Upon his arrival on stage, Union Ministers, State Ministers, Members of Parliament, Members of the Legislative Assembly, and Members of the Legislative Council belonging to the party greeted him with respectful salutations.

Subsequently, Nara Chandrababu Naidu lit the ceremonial lamp to inaugurate the event. The convention began with the song “Maa Telugu Talliki Mallepoodanda,” a cultural tribute that holds special significance for the party and the region.

This Mahanadu is the first to be held after the Telugu Desam Party's significant victory in the 2024 elections. Leaders and party workers from all corners of the state gathered in large numbers to participate in the event. Today, Nara Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to deliver a key address during the proceedings.

Discussions will also be held on the party’s ideology, the presentation of six guiding principles, and proposed amendments to the party’s constitution. Additionally, a notification will be issued regarding the election for the post of the party’s national president.
