Trouble for ‘Kannappa’ Even Before Release… Hard Drive Missing!
The film Kannappa, a high-profile project produced by noted actor Manchu Vishnu, has run into serious trouble even before its release. The film, which has generated significant interest, became the center of controversy in Filmnagar after a critical hard drive containing sensitive content related to the movie was allegedly stolen by unidentified individuals. The incident was reported to the police by the film’s executive producer.

According to the police report, Reddy Vijay Kumar, a resident of Kokapet and the executive producer at TwentyFour Frames Factory Private Limited, filed the complaint. He stated that the hard drive containing crucial content of Kannappa was recently dispatched by courier from HIV Studios in Mumbai to his office located in Filmnagar.

On May 25, the parcel was reportedly received by Raghu, an office boy working at the Filmnagar office. However, it was later discovered that Raghu handed over the package to a woman identified as Charitha without informing anyone. Since then, both individuals have been missing.

In his complaint, Reddy Vijay Kumar alleged that Raghu and Charitha were involved in a conspiracy orchestrated by unknown individuals with malicious intent to deliberately damage the Kannappa film project. The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation. Authorities stated that efforts are underway to identify those behind the theft and to ascertain their motives.
