“I Will Come Wherever You Call Me”: Roja’s Challenge to the Alliance Government
Former Minister and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader R. K. Roja launched a sharp attack on the newly formed alliance government in Andhra Pradesh. She alleged that soon after coming to power, the coalition government halted welfare schemes intended to benefit the people. Roja claimed that the state has seen a surge in debts, illegal activities, and disorder under the new administration.

R. K. Roja strongly criticised the government for allegedly abandoning the promises made before the elections. “They made countless assurances during the campaign and have now raised their hands without fulfilling them,” Roja stated.

Targeting the upcoming Mahanadu meeting organised by the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Roja posed a pointed question: “Can you pass a resolution in Mahanadu stating that all the promises made during the elections will be fulfilled?” She further challenged the ruling alliance to publicly declare at least one promise that has already been honoured.

Roja issued a bold statement, asserting that she is ready to engage in discussion on these issues anywhere in the state—be it Mangalagiri, Kuppam, Pithapuram, or Hindupur. “I will come wherever you ask me to,” she declared. Questioning the integrity and resolve of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Roja asked, “Does Chandrababu have the courage and strength to uphold the promises made to the people?”

She further alleged that Chandrababu Naidu has come to power only to commit irregularities, increase debts, and promote lawlessness in the state.
