Centre Assigns Key Responsibility to MP DK Aruna

The central government has entrusted a significant responsibility to Member of Parliament DK Aruna from Telangana. The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs has officially appointed DK Aruna as the Chairperson of the Telangana State Consultative Committee of the Food Corporation of India (FCI).

With this appointment, DK Aruna is set to focus particularly on the procurement of food grains and related matters within Telangana. The committee is expected to conduct an in-depth study into the availability of food products across the state and the challenges faced during the procurement process.

This consultative body will play an active role in evaluating ground-level conditions and making suitable recommendations to the government. It will operate with the objective of safeguarding the interests of both farmers and consumers in the state.

Expressing her gratitude for the new appointment, DK Aruna thanked the central government for entrusting her with these responsibilities.
