Pak Espionage Case: Police Make Crucial Statement on YouTuber Jyothi Malhotra
The investigation continues in the case of YouTuber Jyothi Malhotra from Haryana, who was arrested on allegations of spying for Pakistan. However, Haryana Police have recently clarified that no evidence has been found linking Jyothi Malhotra to terrorist organizations or individuals involved in terrorism.
Officials stated that Jyothi Malhotra was in full awareness while maintaining contact with officials from Pakistan’s intelligence agencies. According to Hisar Superintendent of Police, there is no proof so far that Jyothi Malhotra has any connections with terrorist groups or was involved in any terror-related activities.
“There is no evidence in our investigation to suggest that Jyothi Malhotra has links with terrorist organizations or individuals. We have also not found any documents confirming that she intended to marry officials from Pakistani intelligence groups or planned to convert her religion,” said the Superintendent of Police.
However, the police added that Jyothi Malhotra continued to stay in contact with individuals despite knowing they were associated with Pakistan’s espionage agency. The investigation has also indicated that she did not have substantial knowledge about the strategies or operations of India’s armed forces.
Police authorities confirmed that a more in-depth investigation is currently underway to uncover further details related to the case.
