Seshachalam encounter: TN CM writes letter to Chandrababu
Hyderabad, April 7: Tamil Nadu Chief minister O. Panneerselvam on Tuesday wrote a letter to Andhra pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on the death of 20 Tamil red sanders smugglers and woodcutters in the Seshachalam forest in Chittoor district.
In the letter, the Tamil Naidu CM demanded an immediate inquiry into the causes that led to the encounter deaths and urged Chandrababu to probe the issue of human rights violations.
The TN Chief Minister also wrote in the letter that most of the dead were from Tiruvannamalai and Vellore districts. He then urged Chandrababu Naidu to grant ex-gratia to the family members of those dead.
