Twin Fire Incidents Shock Hyderabad; One Deadly, One Averted
Two separate fire accidents in Hyderabad on Sunday sparked widespread panic among residents. In a devastating incident near Charminar at Gulzar Houz, 17 people were burned alive. In a separate event at Mailardevpally on the outskirts of the city, fire officials successfully rescued 53 people from a blazing three-storey building.
The fire accident at Mailardevpally occurred unexpectedly in a residential three-storey building. At the time of the incident, approximately 53 people were inside the building. The fire erupted intensely near the main staircase, trapping the occupants on the upper floors. In a state of panic and fearing for their lives, many of them rushed to the terrace and cried out for help.
Upon receiving the alert, the fire department swiftly responded to the emergency with three fire engines. Rescue operations commenced immediately. Using ladders, the fire personnel safely brought down those stranded on the terrace. Others who were stuck on the second floor were evacuated through the stairway.
The fire department acted with precision and urgency, ultimately rescuing all 53 individuals trapped inside the building. Notably, among those rescued were 20 children. Timely intervention and successful control of the flames prevented a major catastrophe. Relief was palpable among the survivors and local residents.
