Heroine Finalized for Chiranjeevi-Anil Ravipudi Film; Makers Release Special Video

It is well known that a film titled Mega 157 is set to be made featuring megastar Chiranjeevi under the direction of prominent filmmaker Anil Ravipudi. The film has already completed its formal launch ceremony, and the makers have announced that shooting will commence soon. In the meantime, Anil Ravipudi has finalized the heroine for the film.

There had been ongoing speculation that Nayanthara would be cast opposite Chiranjeevi in this project. Confirming those rumors, the filmmakers have now officially announced that she will indeed play the female lead. To mark this announcement, a special promotional video has also been released.

The video, which introduces Nayanthara as part of the Mega 157 project, has drawn attention. In his characteristic style, Anil Ravipudi crafted the video, which notably features Nayanthara—who is generally known to stay away from promotional content—making a rare appearance even before filming has begun.

At the end of the video, Nayanthara and Anil Ravipudi can be seen striking Chiranjeevi’s iconic poses, with the duo declaring, “Let’s dazzle this Sankranti.” Additionally, in a manner echoing Chiranjeevi’s trademark style, the dialogue “Hello Master… please give a slight right turn to the camera” adds to the video’s charm. Welcoming Nayanthara to the project, Chiranjeevi also posted a message saying, “Welcome to the hat-trick movie. It’s a pleasure working with her.”

This marks the third collaboration between Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara, following their previous films Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and God Father. The makers plan to complete shooting within this year and release the film during the Sankranti festival in 2026, as officially announced. Music for the film will be composed by Bheems, which is expected to be a special highlight. Meanwhile, with Chiranjeevi having completed his work on Vishwambhara, he is slated to work next on a film with Dasara director Srikanth Odela after wrapping up the project with Anil Ravipudi.
