TGCSB Debunks Viral Terrorist Arrest Video at Hyderabad Airport

A viral video circulating on social media has sparked considerable public alarm by claiming that a terrorist was apprehended by security personnel at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad, Hyderabad. Responding to these reports, officials from the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) clarified that there is no truth to the claims and described the news as completely baseless.

The TGCSB conducted a fact-check on the video that is making the rounds online. Upon investigation, officials concluded that the footage is fake. They explained that the visuals were taken from a recent mock drill conducted at Shamshabad airport, which was organized to raise awareness among staff regarding airport security protocols. The TGCSB stated that some individuals, acting with malicious intent, misrepresented this footage as the capture of a terrorist and spread it across social media.

Officials further clarified that the individuals seen in the video are members of security forces participating in the mock drill, and no actual arrest of a terrorist took place.

In light of this incident, the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau urged the public not to believe or share unverified news or videos that lack official confirmation. They warned that legal action will be taken against those who disseminate such false information and rumors via social media platforms. They also advised the public to verify any suspicious content through official sources before accepting or sharing it.
