Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir React to Virat Kohli’s Test Retirement

India’s cricketing legend Virat Kohli has announced his retirement from Test cricket, concluding a remarkable 14-year journey in the longest format of the game. The unexpected announcement came on Monday, drawing widespread reactions across the cricketing world, including tributes from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the International Cricket Council (ICC), and several current and former players.

Former opener Virender Sehwag congratulated Virat Kohli and expressed his admiration, saying, “Congratulations to Virat. From the moment I saw you, I knew you were someone special. It was a joy to watch how you played Test cricket and the passion you brought to it. You were a great ambassador for the format. I hope good things await you in One Day Internationals.”
