Andhra Pradesh Government Appoints New Chairpersons Across Key Bodies

In the wake of the newly formed government taking charge in Andhra Pradesh, the process of filling nominated posts has accelerated. The state government has recently issued orders appointing chairpersons to several key institutions.

As part of this initiative, government sources confirmed that Alapati Suresh, affiliated with the Amaravati Joint Action Committee (JAC), has been appointed as Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Press Academy. Similarly, Rayapati Shailaja, also from the same JAC, has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Andhra Pradesh Women’s Commission.

Earlier, the state had completed the appointment of the Chairman for the Andhra Pradesh State Co-operative Bank Limited (APCOB) and various District Central Co-operative Banks (DCCBs) on Monday evening. Continuing in this direction, the government has now taken steps to fill several more nominated positions.

Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society (APNRTS): Ravi Vemuru (Tenali, Telugu Desam Party)

Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC): Burugupalli Sesharao (Nidadavolu, Telugu Desam Party)

Andhra Pradesh Inland Waterways Authority Board: Dr. Z. Shivaprasad (Nellore City, Telugu Desam Party)

Andhra Pradesh Educational and Welfare Infrastructure Development Corporation (APEWIDC): S. Rajasekhar (Kuppam, Telugu Desam Party)

Andhra Pradesh Tailors’ Development Co-operative Federation: Akasapu Swami (Tadepalligudem, Telugu Desam Party)

Andhra Pradesh Greening and Beautification Corporation: Sugunamma (Tirupati, Telugu Desam Party)
