KA Paul Alleges Indigo Airlines Prevented His Turkey Trip
KA Paul, founder of the Praja Shanti Party, faced an unexpected situation at Mumbai airport when he was allegedly prevented from boarding a flight to Turkey. Paul claimed that staff from Indigo Airlines obstructed him and his team from boarding despite having intended travel plans to Turkey.
Expressing strong displeasure, KA Paul filed a formal complaint with the Mumbai Police against the CEO of Indigo Airlines and the involved airline staff. Paul stated that he was en route to Turkey to participate in peace talks but was denied boarding without valid justification.
In a video shared on social media, KA Paul said, “We were supposed to travel to Turkey on Indigo Airlines flight 6E 017 from Mumbai. However, as we attempted to board, the Indigo staff stopped us.” He alleged that this disruption to their travel was illegal and unwarranted.
In his complaint, Paul demanded action against both the CEO and the airline personnel who allegedly blocked his journey. He further stated, “I have been travelling across the globe for 37 years. Recently, I had telephonic discussions with former US President Donald Trump and American senators regarding tensions involving Pakistan. Now, when I’m heading to Turkey, they’ve obstructed me.”
KA Paul asserted that the incident was a serious violation of his rights and urged authorities to take immediate steps against those responsible.
