Jayam Ravi's Family Matter Resurfaces Again

Kollywood actor Jayam Ravi's family issue has once again come into public focus. It is already known that reports had earlier emerged in the Tamil film media alleging that Jayam Ravi was in a relationship with singer Kenisha, and that he served divorce papers to his wife Aarti because of this relationship. At the time, Jayam Ravi had refuted these reports, stating that he had no connection whatsoever with the singer.

Presently, the divorce proceedings between Jayam Ravi and Aarti are ongoing in court. However, recent developments have reignited the controversy. Jayam Ravi was seen attending an event with singer Kenisha, where they appeared together in coordinated outfits and behaved like a married couple, sparking fresh rumours about their relationship. In response, Aarti issued an emotional public statement on social media.

Aarti stated that she had remained silent for the past year. She said she endured all allegations for the sake of her children's peace, but emphasized that her silence should not be mistaken as a lack of justice on her side. “Today, the entire world has seen those photographs (of Jayam Ravi and Kenisha),” she said, noting that their divorce proceedings are still underway in court. Expressing deep anguish, she remarked, “It is painful to see someone with whom I lived for 18 years behave this way.”

Aarti also revealed that she has been solely handling the responsibilities of their children for the past few months and lamented that Ravi has not extended either financial or moral support. Adding to the distress, she said a problem has now arisen with their house and recalled that she had always valued love over material calculations.

Speaking about the impact on their two children, aged 10 and 14, Aarti said they deserve safety and security. Although they may not fully grasp legal matters, they can sense what is happening, she noted. “Not responding to phone calls, cancelling meetings, and ignoring messages are like wounds,” she said.

Aarti declared that she was not speaking today as a wife or a wronged woman, but as a mother concerned for her children's well-being. She said if she did not speak now, it would jeopardize their future. “A father is not just a title, it is a responsibility,” she emphasized. She made it clear that until the final verdict in their divorce case is delivered, her Instagram account name will remain as Aarti Ravi. “I am not crying, I am not shouting. I am standing up today for the sake of my children, who still call him 'dad',” she concluded in her statement.
