According to details, a foreign woman named Tara Ingram was travelling in an auto-rickshaw in Delhi. Upon reaching her destination, she asked the auto driver if he had change to pay the fare. In an unexpected gesture, the auto driver refused to accept any payment. Responding in Hindi, he said, “It’s alright, madam, you may go.”
Seeing her confusion, he reassured her by saying, “Don’t worry… you don’t need to pay the fare.” Tara was surprised by the driver's generosity and asked, “Really?” At that moment, a passerby nearby intervened and confirmed, “Yes, madam.”
Deeply moved by the auto driver’s kindness and honesty, Tara expressed her wish to do something in return. She told the passerby, “He is a very, very good man. I want to do something for his goodness. I will give him some money.” She requested the passerby to translate her words for the driver. As a gesture of appreciation, she offered ₹2,000 to the auto driver.
The passerby conveyed Tara’s message to the driver, telling him she wanted to give him money. Smiling, the auto driver accepted the ₹2,000 she handed over. He then shared with her that he has four children. Tara responded with warm wishes, saying, “May your family stay well.”
