Indian Army Releases Video of Destruction of Pakistani Posts

Tensions between India and Pakistan have once again escalated sharply along the border. In response to firing by the Pakistani Army along the Line of Control (LoC), the Indian Armed Forces launched a highly effective counterattack. According to credible sources, several Pakistani military posts were destroyed during this retaliation. For the first time, the Indian Army has released footage showing the destruction of a Pakistani military post by its troops.

The Indian Army officially announced that during the midnight hours of May 8–9, Pakistani armed forces conducted multiple attacks along the western border using drones and other weapons. The Additional Directorate General of Public Information (ADGPI) of the Indian Army stated via X (formerly Twitter) that the Pakistani forces had repeatedly violated the ceasefire agreement along the length of the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir.

Following India's successful interception of Pakistani missile and drone attacks, Pakistani troops resumed firing within a few hours. In retaliation, the Indian Army launched counter-operations. It remains unclear in which specific sector the Pakistani military post was destroyed. However, analysts interpret this as a clear message that the Indian Army is responding firmly to continued ceasefire violations.

Army sources confirmed that the drone attacks were effectively neutralized and emphasized that the Indian forces responded “appropriately” to the ceasefire violations. “The Indian Army remains committed to safeguarding the nation's sovereignty and territorial integrity. We will respond to all malicious threats with strength,” the Army stated.

Meanwhile, in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district, the Border Security Force (BSF) thwarted a major infiltration attempt.
