Jagan Vows Justice for YSRCP Workers, Slams Police and Chandrababu

At the YSR Congress Party central office, party president and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy issued a stern warning, declaring that no one causing trouble to YSRCP workers would be spared, and directed that the names of such police officers be recorded. He assured party members of his unwavering support and emphasized that they would be given top priority in “Jagan 2.0.”

Jagan Mohan Reddy held a special meeting with elected representatives and key leaders from various regions, including MPPs, Vice MPPs, Municipal Chairpersons, Vice Chairpersons, Councillors, and MPTC members from Rajampet Municipality in Annamayya district, Ramakuppam Mandal in Kuppam constituency of Chittoor district, Madakasira Municipality in Sri Sathya Sai district, and Roddam Mandal in Penukonda constituency.

Speaking on this occasion, Jagan Mohan Reddy stated that many party workers were enduring hardships solely because of their affection and loyalty to the YSR Congress Party, and he was closely observing their pain. “I see your suffering. I assure you—we will not spare anyone. Wherever they may be, note down the names of police officers harassing our workers. Once we are back in power, we will bring them before the law,” said Jagan Mohan Reddy.

He alleged that currently, N. Chandrababu Naidu and certain police officers were indulging in malicious activities. “Whatever seeds they are sowing now, the same will sprout tomorrow,” he said. He warned that the officials and police officers currently engaging in atrocities, regardless of where they might be in the future—even if retired or across the seven seas—would not be spared. “This won’t be normal,” he warned severely.

Jagan Mohan Reddy alleged that there was a tyrannical rule underway in the state, where false cases were being filed and fabricated evidence was being produced to suppress dissent. He stated that even unrelated individuals were being implicated, and such political tactics were unprecedented. He criticized Chandrababu Naidu, claiming that he had become insignificant among the public due to failure to implement promised commitments, resulting in intense public opposition.

Jagan Mohan Reddy further alleged that in an effort to divert attention from this backlash and prevent public questioning, the government was creating an atmosphere of fear. He accused the administration of engaging in diversionary tactics whenever public discontent arose—raising issues like the Tirupati Laddu controversy one day and a film actress’s case the next to sidetrack public focus.

He claimed that the Telugu Desam Party lacked the courage to face the people and that Chandrababu Naidu was in no position to answer public questions. He mocked the TDP for failing to fulfill its election promises, alleging that students were questioning the whereabouts of ₹15,000, farmers ₹26,000, elderly women ₹48,000, and youth ₹36,000. According to him, the TDP had no answers. He strongly criticized the Chandrababu Naidu-led government for allegedly destroying and disabling all systems in the state.
