Tamannaah’s New Film Set for OTT Release – Streaming Date Announced
The supernatural horror thriller Odela 2, starring Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead role, is set for its digital release. After its theatrical debut in April, the film will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video starting Thursday.
The movie will be accessible in five languages: Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. Directed by Ashok Teja, Odela 2 is the sequel to Odela Railway Station. The story was written by Sampath Nandi.
The plot unfolds in the village of Odela. After Tirupati, portrayed by Vasishta N. Simha, is murdered by his wife Rathaa (played by Hebah Patel), his spirit turns into a vengeful ghost. He begins to take revenge on the villagers. As the narrative progresses, Tirupati’s ghost starts targeting and killing newlywed women in the village. Eventually, the people of Odela come to believe that Tirupati’s spirit has transformed into a terrifying evil force.
The central conflict revolves around the battle between the ghost of Tirupati and Bairavi, a naga sadhu played by Tamannaah Bhatia, who arrives in Odela to protect the village. The film explores how many more lives the ghost takes and what unfolds in the intense confrontation between Bairavi and the malevolent spirit.
